Entrepreneur in Residence

Entrepreneurship is a skill, and just like any other skill, you can become better at it with practice, the right tools and guidance.

I’ve worked with Bas on an intense program to crystallize our pilot concept into a more refined idea that is validated with our customers. Bas was able to bring a structured process to challenge our thinking while ensuring the whole engagement remained engaging and productive. His entrepreneurial spirit, accomplishments and drive to get the best out of every team member is admirable and very effective at accomplishing our goals.

Why

After helping hands full of companies develop new products and services, help create innovation divisions as well as setting up a handful of successful ventures myself, I came to enjoy teaching people on strategic positions in an organization how to think and act like an entrepreneur, so they may guide their organization in a future-proof manner.

As organizations grow bigger, they inevitably become harder to navigate. It becomes harder to get new projects started, let alone have them succeed.

The capacity for intrapreneurship in an organization directly shows in an organization’s ability to innovate quickly and effectively.

You need checks and balances, you need proper management and you need focus on your core business. However, to avoid stagnation, capacity for intrapreneurship is essential.

I help develop this capacity by use of a scientific, structural approach to intrapreneurship.
